To be an infant again

Learning everything for the first time

Judgment free from others

Of how I am supposed to try

We have so much left of our life to live

Why does it seem

That the first 2 decades, we are sponges

Who are forced to learn every day

From the moment we wake up

Til falling asleep cramming flashcards to memory for exams

Until one day graduating

And receiving the societal perception

That we can now become

Intellectually lazy?
